A Series A AI-native consumer fintech is hiring a Lead Product Designer to run the design function end-to-end and fully integrate their AI companion into every part of the product.
The app already has millions of users and ranks consistently on the top consumer finance charts. Tier-1 venture-backed, including investors behind some of the most defining consumer fintech and tech companies of the last decade. The AI layer is now central to the next phase of growth.
This is a sole-IC role. No design layer above you. You'll partner directly with the founders, own the entire design function, and shape how the AI companion shows up across every screen, flow and moment in the app.
What you'll be doing
- Running the design function end-to-end as the sole IC.
- Fully integrating the AI companion across the product so the experience genuinely comes alive.
- Designing bold, highly aesthetic flows and standout product moments.
- Partnering directly with the founders on product strategy and roadmap.
- Creating cohesive, polished, uncluttered user experiences across every touchpoint.
- 3+ years leading end-to-end product design.
- Expert-level Figma - non-negotiable.
- A slightly technical mindset with a feel for consumer finance, investing and AI insights.
- Proven 0 to 1 ownership with cohesive end-to-end product experiences shipped.
- Bold, polished, aesthetic design sense - clarity over clutter.
- Willingness to complete a fast-turnaround design challenge as part of the process.
